I specialise in offering a complete bespoke design and production service to individuals and companies both large and small and I am also able to work with third party departments or agencies if required.
I offer complete flexibility, great communication and aim to give a very personal but professional solution to whatever project you may have.
What I like is the detail, the opportunity to listen, talk and get to know people and build trusting two-way relationships. With this commitment there normally comes that little spark to create something even more special than that was originally thought of.
I have had a long career within the print and graphics arena. Graduating, a long long time ago, with a Dip AD from Ravenbourne School of Art & Design, I found gainful employment for a publishing house in London designing, visualising and doing good old fashioned typography and markups for magazines (remember Magic Markers?), adverts and marketing collateral. Having worked there for three years I then moved to Jetsave Travel in-house studio where I gained immense experience within the Travel and leisure sector, meeting some great people and doing brochure design, production, print and marketing.
In 1985 I left to start out on my own freelancing in London around various studios and developing my own clients. This led to a big break that summer when I was asked to design and produce the first Virgin Holidays brochure and various marketing collateral. This then led to more travel and leisure related work and Peter Faunch Design was finally born.
Since then I have worked from various studio premises with many major blue chip companies: Europcar, MSC Cruises, Millenium Copthorne Hotels, Air France and Air France Holidays, Celebrity Cruises and Key to America to name but a few and also some great individual people.
With the massive internet and global change that has occurred in the last few years and contraction of leisure market I have now taken that experience and am working for clients outside of the leisure arena.
The overwhelming factor throughout this time has been a desire to deliver a very personal professional service that cuts out a lot of nonsense but gives clients complete confidence that the job will be creatively fulfilled, on time and on budget. An achievement born out of having had some considerably long term relationships that have spanned seven, ten and thirteen years over this time.
I love meeting people, a desire of knowledge, have an inquiring passion for all things statistical and useless information. I am a great Mac evangelist, but am still full of enthusiasm for graphics, the web and all things that communicate. My general creed is to try and learn something new every day.
